Chapter 116 Not Letting Her Go
Rugolf summoned a new Chimera. Beato started to stagger towards it as if drawn in.
"Beato! You can't go, stop!"
Just as I tried to stop her, the six Draco-Chimeras attacked me. The leading one swung its thick leg down like a pillar with a loud roar.

She was slammed into the wall from behind, and then she coughed violently. Meanwhile, two Draco-Chimeras unleashed flames at me in unison. Dodging, I leaped into their midst and consecutively slashed the faces of the fourth and fifth ones.

Their faces turned into a bubbling stew in an instant, and both of them died together. Only one remained. I had to do this quickly...!
"Tch, just one more... I don't have time to deal with the brat."
The Chimera carrying Beato lifted off, flapping its wings.
